New Mexico: Local Impact
Hunger Statistics in New Mexico:
Hunger affects communities across New Mexico, touching people of all ages, backgrounds, and zip codes.

That child food insecurity rate represents an estimated 107,990 New Mexico kids (23.3% of the 2023 child population)—enough to fill University Stadium in Albuquerque (39,224 seats) nearly three times.
