Albertsons Volunteers Make a Big Impact on North Texas Giving Day 2023

Join us in celebrating North Texas Giving Day on September 21st, a remarkable event that has been unting our community since it's inception in 2009. Today marks Today is NTX Giving Day 2023 |and you can be a part of the excitement by visiting NTX Giving Day (northtexasgivingday.org).

A  team of 50 dedicated volunteers from Albertson's Plano office enthusiastically participated in the North Texas Food Bank’s 24 hour volunteer event which ran from 8am to 10:30am .Together, the team accompluished an incredible feat-packaging 960 boxes of food for local families. This amounts to 28,944 pounds of food and approximately 24,120 meals! 

But it wasn't just about the numbers; it was about coming together as a team and making a meaningul impact in our community. The team had so much fun and are eagerly looking forward to future collaborations with the food bank. Join us in making a difference on this remarkable day!
