Nourishing Neighbors 'Nourish the American Dream' Campaign July 1- July 7

Albertsons Companies Foundation’s Nourishing Neighbors alongside a nationwide coalition of hunger relief organizations is launching Nourish the American Dream, the first ever unified national movement to end childhood hunger in America.

From July 1 through July 7, hunger organizations will come together for one shared week of action to raise funds, build awareness, and rally communities around one shared vision: ensuring no child goes hungry.

The campaign is intentionally timed to coincide with Independence Day. As our country celebrates 250 years of American freedom, we also want to shine a light on the children who lose access to reliable meals when school is out, and on the incredible organizations working tirelessly every single day to change that. Every participating organizations will mobilize their own community, raise funds to support their local work, and be amplified through a national platform. Together, our voices become stronger and our impact becomes greater.

This movement is built entirely on collaboration with a collective goal of raising $5 million to support childhood hunger efforts nationwide. But beyond fundraising, our vision is even bigger: to turn Independence Day into a lasting national movement of action around childhood hunger, year after year. This is our moment to come together as one country, one movement, and one shared commitment to America’s children.
