Safeway in partnersip with WK Kellogg Co.and Kellanova collaborated to bring joy to Mesa Verde Elementary School in Farmington, NM.
A surprise donation of $20,000 and 500 books was presented at our Farmington, NM Safeway store. The school plans to use some of the money to replace playground equipment that is over 50 years old!
The book donation, part of Kellogg's Feeding Reading program, was revealed alongside the generous check. Mesa Verde's principal, Pamela Schritter, expressed gratitude, emphasizing the funds' impact on the school's playground. The donation aligns with Mesa Verde's focus on social and emotional learning.
