Leading Nonprofits Join Albertsons Companies Foundation in a First-of-Its-Kind Initiative to Tackle Summer Hunger Among Children in the U.S.
Join us and make your voice heard!
To help tackle the issue of childhood hunger, Albertsons Companies Foundation has convened leading national hunger nonprofits to build a campaign driving awareness of Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) – a new USDA program providing $120 per child to eligible families with school-aged children during the summer months to use to purchase food.
Here is our website: https://summerebt.org/. The goal is to give families a simple, fast way to check if they may be eligible for Summer EBT benefits and subsequently connect them to their state sign-up application or info site. For families that live in states that are not participating, the site directs them to other food resources, and helps them find their elected representatives if they would like to make their voice heard and encourage their state to participate in the future.
