Albertson's Nourishing Neighbors Foundations has supported the Boise Basin Hunger Project's (BBHP) mission of providing nutrition to families and individuals struggling with food insecurity throughout Idaho's Boise Basin Area during Covid-19. Their support signifcantly enabled our 501(c)3 non-profit organization to provide the much needed nutrition to the many people (families, adults, seniors, veterans and children) who needed our help.
The BBHP is proud that we turn right back around and return the support by regularly shopping at Albertson's to purchase our non-perishable food items that we provide to our recipients every year.
The Boise Basin Hunger Project was established during Covid-19 in 2020 due to a small group of concerned citizens in Idaho's Boise Basin area, which is near and around Idaho City and East Boise County, Idaho.
Since established, our organization has become a reliable source of nutritional support for anyone who struggles with food insecurity in this area. We work closely with the local school district and sheriff's deptartment to help ensure we are reaching all those in need of our help in this area.
Our organization has grown a lot since 2020. We are providing more than a couple hundred hearty filled food boxes to several hundreds of people at our multiple scheduled food box distributions and/or emergency situations that we provide support throughout the year, every year.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH ALBERTSON'S NOURISHING NEIGHBORS FOR SPONSORING US IN THE PAST.
WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT OUR 'MISSION' IN THE NEAR FUTURE AGAIN:
"Providing Nutrition to Families & Individuals struggling with Food Insecurity throughout Idaho's Boise Basin Area."
Sincerely and with Gratitutde,
